This session invites to submit contributions on innovative technologies and methodologies (tools & methods) dedicated to the assessment of all natural risks covered by the conference, including analyses of their effectiveness: well-documented case studies with their focus on practical field implementation and lessons learned (i.e., contingency maps).  Particularly welcome are studies on vulnerability assessment of humans, built environment and the environment, especially considering known and unknown uncertainties, as well as their qualitative and quantitative analyses; and risk consequences in general.
